Mark Zuckerberg in Nigeria: The good_bad News

The Tech Prodigy Mark Zuckerberg-who first made his millions in his early 20s and whose angel code is his father that bought him programming book at tender age and even got him a coach until he was able to connect his father's home office computer to all the computers in the house-is in Nigeria.

Zuckerberg has turned school fun social approach into billions of dollars. Great achievement young Nigerians and Africans can learn from.

One of the greatest things to learn about this simple business genius is that his goal for doing what he's doing is contribution and when Microsoft offered to buy Facebook at early stage, he declined because his passion was to connect people all over the world and not the money but he got affluence as a reward after fulfilling his purpose.

Now, what is the good news? Mentoring upcoming startups and doing some direct IT investment in Nigeria beyond crusading his internet.org venture. Zuckerberg will surely mentor some young startups and IT entrepreneurs though with his business in view but that will give those entrepreneurs quantum jump on time leveraging on first hand global experience and influence Zuckerberg will offer which will eventually make a positive impact on our GDP, employment for the youth and soft-sector development to mention few.

The bad news is with a question: would the mentees of Zuckerberg be willing to mentor other young people and be ready to do some selfless services to the nation? Won't those guys just play the usual pocket-politics Nigeria is known for and hoard information from people to feast?

We hope to see programs and event that will transit his visit and we wish him well as he stroll the corridor of the globe from dashing out drone to the Pope Francis to walking on the street of Yaba Nigeria.
